The course is green thanks to our incredible superintendent, our Junior Tennis campers are cool and refreshed, and southwest Florida is sunny and warm. The summer storms haven’t rained on our mood!

Take a peek at what we’ve been up to and what excitement we have to look forward to!

SWFGJA 18-Hole Tournament

We’d like to thank Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association (SWFJGA) and the talented Junior golfers who participated in the SWFJGA 18-Holes 2017 at Estero Country Club!

The day was cut short by lightning so to determine the winners, the team at SWFJGA found the common holes played within each Flight and discovered it was between 10-13 holes. To see how the players fared, please sign-in to visit Golf Genius and enter the code “SUVSTC” for the GGID and click “results”.

“On behalf of the entire Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association, I’d like to thank the members and staff of Estero CC for hosting our event today.” said Michael Chesnover, PGA, Executive Director of SWFJGA.

Every year we are humbled and honored to host incredible young men and women at Estero Country Club. Whether it’s on the golf course or on the tennis court, dozens of Junior players join us at our Club to grow professionally and personally. It is our honor to help players grow in their game.

This summer, we’ve seen the junior golf and tennis community flourish thanks to a dedicated group of young players, our dedicated golf professionals, and the support of southwest Florida! Estero Country Club will proudly continue to support junior golf and tennis!

Walking Through the Wildlife

The fresh air has been fresh at Estero Country Club! Our members and guests have enjoyed the great doors and so have our local wildlife! We have certainly lived up to our “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” title.

“Estero Country Club has shown a strong commitment to its environmental program. They are to be commended for their efforts to provide a sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course property,” said Jim Sluiter, Staff Ecologist for the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programs.

A little birdie told us that there are a fair share of “tweets” to be shared at Estero Country Club! If you’ve never visited our club

This Downy Woodpecker was captured on video by Brian Beckner of Native Bird Houses spotted an adorable Downy Woodpecker and Nancy Nelms and Beverly Bercaw managed to capture this photo of a bird watching over the golfers!
